The LORD is magnified! This is my church home and I love being here. All praise and glory be to God. I thank God for saving me through His Son Jesus Christ. I am assured that my eternal life is secure as I received Jesus into my heart in 1973, (Isaiah 28:16, Romans 10:9-11) and I have been walking with Jesus from that day. My life now is full of praise unto God but it was not always that way.

Years of heroin use, riding with biker gangs, and jail time left me with a future that seemed to have no way out. That was my conclusion before I met my personal Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

When I asked Jesus, God the Son, to enter my heart and I repented of my sin, I was a changed man from that moment on. Now, with a thankful heart I've been with Jesus ever since. My desire is to let everyone know that there is a way out and that way is Jesus Christ (John 14:6). All you have to do to receive salvation from sin is pray a simple prayer like this: "I thank You God for loving me so much that You sent Your Son to die for me. I now turn from my sin and I make Jesus the Lord of my life. I know I will spend eternity with You! I thank You and pray these things in Jesus name, Amen."

If you have prayed that prayer with your heart, rest assured your eternal salvation is complete. Welcome to the family of God! We would love to assist you with any questions. I'm so blessed to be here at Calvary Chapel Jurupa Valley. God has truly been moving and showing Himself to me since I came back to Him in 1994. This is my home, Jesus is my Lord and Pastor Jim is my Pastor.

I ran from God for twenty-two years. In that time my life was filled with hard drugs, alcohol, guns, pornography and a biker lifestyle that was filled with evil thoughts and deeds. I never thought God would accept me back into His grace. I couldn't be more wrong!

God never left me - I left Him. When I realized what a terrible life I had, I simply asked Jesus back into my life and He received my prayer and repentance.

I've not looked back since. The Bible tells me: "God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Now that you have read that scripture you can rest assured that God loves you. Turn from your sin; Ask Jesus into your life. He is faithful and true and will save you (Acts 4:12).

I hope to see you here at CCJV. In the meantime remember Jesus loves you and He died for you but you must receive His free gift of salvation. Amen.

I came to saving faith at the age of twelve after hearing the Gospel at the Brethren Bible Chapel. I was a product of God's grace and my mother's answered prayer. My mother took me to the meeting every Sunday and preached to me and quoted Scripture. She also sang me hymns everyday as child and even after I was saved. As time went by I involved myself with high school Bible clubs and started playing guitar at the age of nine.

It was hard to keep things in balance back then between, The Beatles, Bible and fellowship; I enjoyed all three. I would often read and study the Scriptures because I had a real hunger for God's word. No one ever had to tell me to read the Bible. That was something I had to have in my life and I did notice even back then that the Lord was setting me apart for a work He would reveal to me one day.

Well through many wilderness journeys as life began to unfold the call of using the God given gifts seem to naturally make room for me to be a part of ministry. The Lord would bring godly men in my path to disciple me in teaching the word and worship leading. Ordained March 3rd 1993, I served as a worship pastor at Calvary Rialto under Pastor Terry Hlebo. After serving there for fourteen years I moved to South Orange country where I served as administrative pastor and also worship leader at Calvary Laguna. I’ve had the wonderful privilege to fulfill my hearts desires with my music as a worship leader fingerstyle guitarist and pastoral calling; I can say from a grateful heart God is good. And now serving under Pastor Jim and the fellowship of believers at Calvary Chapel Jurupa Valley the blessings just keep flowing.
